December 26 every year is the International Fulfulde Day.

Below are the institutions of higher learning in Nigeria where pulaar is taught:

1. University of Maiduguri

2. Federal College of Education, Yola

3. Federal College of Education, Kano

4. Sa’adatu Rimi University of Education, Kumbotso

5. Shehu Shagari University of Education, Sokoto.
